My name is Nat Bartsch, and I’m an Australian pianist/composer.
I’ve released an album of gentle lullabies called Forever Changed. This album celebrates the discovery of my autistic and ADHD identity, and explores the neurodivergent sensory experience of music. I created the album in consultation with music therapists and other AuDHD people.
Using harp, strings, synthesizers and ambient effects, I added sounds that some autistic & ADHD people find particularly soothing in music: texture, layers, detail, repetition, high pitched melodies, interlocking patterns, grounding rhythms.
It is immersive music you can soak in. I hope it helps you stim and regulate big emotions and fizzy feelings, like it does for me! And if it doesn’t that’s OK. Every neurodivergent person is different.
Either way, I hope it feels good to know that I made this music with you in mind x
