Nat has written chamber music commissions for PLEXUS (Into the Light), Solstice Trio (For Mary and Homecoming), The Muses Trio (a movement for Fire Dances Suite commissioned by ABC Fresh Start Fund) and Matt Withers/Sally Whitwell (the forthcoming work Where We Were). Some of these works, particularly her debut chamber music piece, Into the Light, have been performed numerous times by different ensembles. In 2021 she received the Merlyn Myer Commission at Melbourne Recital Centre, to create a large scale work with Inventi Ensemble titled The Glasshouse, inspired by the photography of Julia Margaret Cameron.
